FAQs

Check out these FAQs to find out whether Spagnol Strength is the fastest way to a stronger, healthier you.

  • I’m really interested in training with you, how do I go about booking a session?"
Contact me through the website or on my mobile phone number. We’ll set up a consultation to discuss the details. On that same day we can establish the training days and times depending on your availability and mine.
  • What level of fitness should I have before starting training with you?
Any level is welcome. I train kids, middle-aged individuals, elderly people, overweight, injured, athletes… Everyone is welcome. The training will be geared toward your level of fitness.
  • What about people with special needs?
Unfortunately, I am not qualified to train people with special needs.
  • Is the training always outdoors?
Yes, unless the weather is really bad. In that case we can do the session online.
  • What can I expect from a training session?
Each session is composed of different material from the sessions before. The intensity, the level of exertion, the style of training are always different. This ensures that I remain creative, and that the training is always challenging and interesting to the students.
  • What is your style of coaching?
I’m not going to shout slanders in your face or wave pom poms in the air chanting “you can do it!” I’ll brief you on the exercise and simulate it for you, then observe your form to see that it is correct. I expect you to push yourself, but I won’t force you to push past your limit.
  • How would you describe the typical session?
Imagine a bell-shaped curve on an intensity chart. We start off with a warm-up, then build up to the hardest exercises, and gently reduce the intensity toward the last 15 minutes of the session. The last section is then stretching.
  • Do you do specialized training?
Yes. Depending on the needs of my client, I create a training package geared specifically for them.
  • Do I need to bring any equipment for training?
Only a training mat or towel, and a drink. I will provide any equipment that is needed.
  • Have any of your students ever been injured because of your training?
Only very light injuries such as tendon inflammation have happened over the years. These can be expected from any form of exercise. Nothing major or long-term. The exercises I use are bodyweight exercises, so they’re very safe.
