Personal Training

Personal training is one-on-one training with a trainer whose job is to design an exercise programme to meet your needs. Unlike any other kind of group training, the idea here is to adapt the exercises to your body according to its strength and weaknesses, rather than forcing it to adapt to the exercise regime that the rest of the group is following. 

  

The training revolves around your goals, which may be general (e.g. you want to lose weight and improve your general health) or specific (e.g. you have a sedentary job which is taking a toll on your neck and lower back and you wish to get rid of that nagging pain.) 

 

Other examples of goals: 

  • You are an athlete who wishes to improve your speed and power. 

  • You have recently been injured, or have a long-term injury and wish to work around it to regain or maintain your strength. 

  • You want to develop a weak part of your body.
